Recap: Disney On Ice presents World of Fantasy

Would it surprise you if I told you that the emotions of nostalgia and happiness were felt throughout the entire Sleep Train Arena Tuesday night? It's true. The Oohs and Aahs that came not just from the children present, but the parents and adults, was amazing.

My girls and I had a fabulous time watching the stories of some of our favorite Disney films come to life on the ice. We were treated to a magical journey to Radiator Springs, Pixie Hollow, Under the Sea and finally Sunnyside Daycare. The skating was fantastic, the stories held true to Disney/Pixar's storyline, and they were really fun! We laughed, cried, and had a wonderful night of enchantment.

Two of my favorite scenes were with Tinkerbell and Terrance, in Pixie Hollow, and then with our friends from Toy Story 3, when Andy is reminiscing of his adventures with his childhood friends. Both scenes naturally brought tears to my eyes, but that's what I love about Disney and Pixar. The stories are relatable and they evoke emotion and excitement from its audience, regardless of their age. While my girls might not have cried like their mama, they definitely understand the meaning of being true to yourself, being proud of who you are and your abilities like Tinkerbell, or finding great friends, taking care of each other, and not leaving them behind.

I am excited to share that it's not too late to enjoy the show. I shared the showtimes in my previous post. We saw many fairies, princesses, and super heroes, so feel free to dress the kids up! Don't forget your EARS! :)

Disney on Ice presents Worlds of Fantasy will run through October 26th at Sleep Train Arena in Sacramento, CA. It's not too late to plan for a night of magic with your favorite little ones and their cherished Disney/Pixar buddies! For tickets and more information, visit DisneyOnIce.com!
