Disney teams up with World of EPI on a new line of dolls and toys!

The Penny Proud & Crew Mini Figure set by World of EPI, exclusive to Target

Penny Proud and and her crew is back! If you didn't already know, The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder is streaming now on Disney+. I can't believe the original series launched in 2001! Needless to say, it's about time it returned.

The packaging is a reusable box that doubles as Penny's bedroom so the crew can hang!

While I am not always up for remakes or reboots, The Proud Family is one that I can get behind! I feel like many of the shows with representation are not given the same amount of gusto as other shows and films with Disney. I hear that they are continuing to make changes and bring to the forefront more diversity and inclusivity in their shows, films, and overall.

And, just in time for The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder, Disney has partnered with World of EPI, the leading manufacturer behind authentic multicultural dolls has released the first in a series of fashion dolls and mini figures! This woman-owned company gives kids an opportunity to see themselves represented in their toys!

10" Penny Proud fashion doll

There are just two of the items available now at Target, a Penny Proud fashion doll and The Penny Proud & Crew Mini Figure set!

The World of EPI is committed to authentic representation to help children see their true beauty and brilliance. They create custom-blended skin tones and feature hair textures and styles including afro, afro puffs, wavy, braids and straight.

In addition to The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder, we will also see Marvel's Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur dolls releasing soon as the series premieres Summer 2022 on Disney Channel.
