The Best Disney+ Originals You Should Be Streaming

Viewer's feet resting on a coffee table with the tv showing Disney+ streaming service.

We are huge Disney fans. Sparks of Magic started out as a Disney-centric blog in 2014. Enter the Disney+ the online streaming platform for ALL OF THE MAGIC, and our crew is hooked. We can watch classics from the vault, current shows and films, Disney history and documentaries.

I love that on Disney+ I can customize my own watchlist separate from the family, along with my own account profile. As you can see Tiana is my profile avatar. Here's a screenshot of my current watchlist on my account today:

One of my favorite things to watch are behind-the-scenes shows, docuseries and documentaries. I love to see magic being made! As a Walt Disney Company fanatic and former cast member, I am enamored with the details, the blood/sweat/tears/fun, and the hard work that goes into making magical experiences. I love that Disney continues to evolve in the way of bringing experiences to their guests. The Disney+ platform is one of our favorite ways to stream.

Consider getting some inspiration, and perhaps even experience a bit of nostalgia, and check out what happens in the background of all the Disney magic.

This is one of my favorite set of Disney shorts series. This series highlights a diverse group of people involved in various aspects of running the global organization. It's exciting to hear their stories and see how they are making magic and spreading it in their roles and to guests. Season 1 has 30 short episodes; they are each under 10 minutes. Believe me, you'll want to know more. Watch the full documentary listed below!

If you love the Disney theme parks, watch this. You'll be led behind the scenes of the innovation of Walt Disney Imagineers from the beginning of The Walt Disney Company. It's amazing to see concept to creation and hear from the people making magic happen. I have a soft spot for Imagineering, after working with them for D23 in 2015. There are six episodes and I hope they make more!

You guys, I cried. This series brought to life eight Disney•Pixar films on the streets of New York and it gave me all the feels. My favorite was probably the episode where Russell earns his badge. Each episode is under ten (10) minutes.
